If you want to download additional embroidery designs from the Internet to use with your home embroidery machine, but aren’t yet ready to create your own designs, the Brother PED-Basic Software package allows you to do just that.
- Download free or low-cost embroidery designs (.pes format files) from the Internet
- Import embroidery designs from CD-ROM
- Built-in embroidery samples
- Three frame sizes
- Resize most designs from 90 to 120%
- Print an image of the design and information about the pattern: name, size, number of stitches, and thread colors
- Print sewing area box & center axis of the pattern
- Print template grid that you can use as a template to place the design on your embroidery project.
- Realistic stitch design preview – The stitching and colors are displayed on your computer screen so that you can preview the actual embroidery.
- Writes the pattern (.pes files) to Brother original memory cards for your embroidery machine.

This is probably one of the best products I have ever bought. For those who do not know much about computers, it is so easy and the instructions are very simple. There is no reason to have to spend $39.99-$75.00 for embroidery cards when you may not even use all of the patterns. Better than I thought it would be!
I am amazed at how much this allows me to download! I thought I would only be able to download designs from the Brother website, but I was WRONG! Great Product for embroidery designs
I am new to embroidering and I love this product. It allows me to download designs and transfer them to an embroidery card for use in my machine.
